So today I had a little time and decided to see if I can make a magno trigger outta this...
since the borg doesn't have a spring anymore (at least mine didn't), and I didn't like the squishy feeling of the return from the microswitch.
So here is what I did
I really couldn't think of a place were I could just slap a magnet in based on the way the trigger tilts, so I decided to go with a reverse polarity set up.
1) Took off the grip frame , and use something (I used some white putty at the end of a small allen), to mark where the hole lines up to the trigger, then removed the trigger (very nice and easy to take the trigger off BTW, no gadang punch pins, thank you MD)
2) Installed a zinc coated set screw in place of the SS one where the spring adj formally was, got one a little longer than the stock one for adjustability (in this step, as an afterthought, I should have flattened out the top of the screw, see next step).
4) Got some 1/8" rare earth magents from Radio shack, and labeled the sides that were pushing away from each other. Glued one to the top of the set screw coming from the grip frame, this is pretty easy because the magnet will stick tight to the set screw, and the glue gives it some extra support
(You 'could' just glue the magnet into the hole, it will fit fine there, but I wanted to see if I could make it adjustable)
5) Took trigger to the shed, and used a 15/64 drill bit to bore a hole into the trigger where I marked it in step one. Drilled deep enough to make the magnet sit flush.
6) Glued magent into the hole I just made after cleaning it out
7) Reinstalled the trigger and tested, walla, the magents are pushing away and giving me some tension that I had desired.
The set screw if long enough allows for a little adjustment as well, the closer it is to the other magenet the more tension. The set screw can be turned downwards until the magnet touches the inside of the grip frame, and turned in until it almost touches the other magnet, which is wicked tight.
It gave me something to do today intead of visiting with the in-laws , and I'm pretty satisfied with the results. The trigger feels more snappy, and not squishy from just the retrn of the microswitch.
Total cost was about $2 + an hour of time.

Werde das evtl bei Gelegenheit mal ausprobieren
