Habe Samstag den einzigen Prototypen in Europa in der Hand gehabt. Handling ist geil aber die kam mir sauschwer vor dafür das die so klein ist....

Hostile Creations wollte ja die Rogue rausbringen. Gefertigt wirde die Rogue in Taiwan. Die Fabrik in Taiwan brachte keine gute Qualität zu stande, die Rogue hat Probleme mit der Effizienz, dem Asa und dem Regulator. Will von Hostile Creations hat sich daher entschlossen die Rogue nicht zu vertreiben.
Jetzt vertreibt die Firma aus Taiwan unter dem Namen Hostile Inc die Rogue auf eigene Faust.

The company in this thread is the factory in Taiwan who actually manufactured the Rogue.

When Hostile Creations contracted this factory in Taiwan to manufacture the Rogue for them, they believed the Rogue was going to be a great and unique marker.

While the Rogue is unique, there were problems with the Rogue, which the factory couldn't (or wouldn't) fix. There were problems with consistency, air efficiency, and a poorly designed ASA that would eat o-rings.

The factory in Taiwan said that they had the parts which would fix the problems, but that they wouldn't give these parts to Hostile Creations until all of the Rogues had been sold. Hostile didn't want to sell a ton of problematic markers, only to give the proper parts out at a later date. They were at a standoff with the factory over this issue, so they simply returned the Rogues to the factory in Taiwan, and said they weren't going to sell the Rogue.

Now, the factory in Taiwan is calling itself Hostile Inc., and is trying to fix the problems with the Rogue, so they can sell the hundreds which have already been produced.

So, this isn't a scam, it's legit. It just appears suspicious because they are calling themselves Hostile Inc. instead of Hostile creations.

I've sent word to the factory as to how they can fix the ASA problem, the air efficiency problem, and the consistency problem. They have apparently chosen to ignore (what I believe to be) the only fix for the Rogue.

Personally, I'm glad I got rid of mine before word got out about the issues with the Rogue. I wish I had some advice for the people who currently have a Rogue, but I don't. If you want to send your Rogue back to Taiwan, then you can do so without fear of being scammed. But they aren't going to be able to fix your Rogue, because the entire reg design is flawed.

I would like to personally thank Chuck and Specops for informing enthusiasts on PBNation regarding this confusing mess. As the managing partner of Hostile Creations I can assure you that HostileInc.com is not related to Hostile Creations. Indeed, the company posing as Hostile Inc. WAS the factory that manufactured the Rogue, however, after nearly 6 months of disagreeing on some issues, we decided not to release the Rogue.

On another note, I am extremely pleased that "Hostile Inc." is finally willing to supply and support current Rogue owners with the necessary parts that will make the Rogue a great marker. Although, I do not agree with the way the situation turned out. I am happy that the testers and Hostile Creations followers will finally be taken care of. Please pass this on to as many Rogue owners as possible.

Finally, Hostile Creations will not be supporting any aspects of the Rogue and will not carry/release/support the marker. If the factory does not follow through, please let me know, but I am sure they will take care of all of you. I apologize to all the individuals that have emailed us regarding the Rogue. We have been left in the dark for some time and have been bombarded with inquiries.

The problem with the Rogue is actually twofold.

The first part of the problem is the reg....it doesn't seem to have enough volume to work properly.

The other problem is the bolt....it's a copy of a design that was used by a low end marker years ago. It wasn't good then, and it isn't good now. It requires a lot of air to make it cycle properly, and since the Reg doesn't hold a lot of air, you really have to turn it up to get the bolt to cycle, and this just adds to the inconsistency.

When TechT was trying to make a bolt for the Rogue, they simply couldn't make one work because of the reg being located behind the bolt. They said that they could make one of their bolt engines for the Rogue if the reg wasn't located behind the bolt, because the TechT bolt engine needs to have a backcap/can that their bolt fits into.

I suggested using an ASA with the reg built into it, like a couple of other markers are using (Mini/Axe). That would not only solve the problem with the poorly designed Rogue ASA, but it would do away with the reg being located behind the bolt, which would allow TechT to make their bolt engine for the Rogue.

If you took the Rogue, and put a quality ASA/reg on it, and used a TechT bolt engine, it would be a winning combination.

I think this is the only way to solve the problems with the Rogue.

Die tolle Verarbeitungsqualität hat man doch schon auf den Bildern oben gesehen. Da macht selbst DP nen besseren Eindruck.
Wenn man das so liest scheint HC genau 0 mit der Entwicklung der Rogue zu tun gehabt zu haben. Eher macht es den Eindruck das man sich eine "fertig entwickelte" Gun aus dem Fundus der Taiwan Firma gegriffen hat und gesagt hat "Klatscht hier mal unser Logo drauf, baut davon X Stück und gebt uns nen guten Preis".
Leider ist das "Ursprungs Produkt" nicht ausgereift/schlecht konstruiert, so dass es zu nicht ganz unerheblichen Problemen kommt.
Da viele "Hersteller" aus Taiwan und China so flexibel sind wie ein Granitquader mit einer Kantenlänge von einem Meter führen auch gut gemeinte Verbesserungsvorschläge zu nichts. Außer zu der Erkentniss, dass man die Geschäftsbeziehung noch mal ernsthaft überdenken sollte. Siehe APS, ähnliche Geschichte.

Ich hab schon lange keinen mehr gesehen, aber erinnert der Bolt der "Rogue" nicht an den Bolt der Air Challenger/WGP MG7?

Ich kram nächste Woche mal in unserer Alu Schrottkiste und guck mal ob ich die MG7 finde, zwecks Pics.

Verzeih mir wenn ich aus meiner Sicht sage das ist Bullshit ohne die Gun in der Hand gehabt zu haben.
Die Gun solange zu "strahlen", bis auch die letzte grobe Frässpur nicht mehr zu sehen ist ist kein Qualitätsmerkmal. Qualitativ hochwertiges Finish sieht für mich anders aus und sollten das oben keine "Prototypen Solenoids" sein fühle ich mich noch mehr in meiner Meinung bestätigt.
Den angepeilten Preisrahmen sollte man dabei im Auge behalten und da sind manche Guns um 300-400$ besser verarbeitet.
Aber gut, ist deine Meinung.

Der "Hersteller" hat nicht eine vernünftig laufende Gun erfolgreich auf den Markt gebracht. Sollte ich falsch liegen bitte mit dazugehörigen Links berichtigen.
Die größten Flops dürften einigen hier wohl bekannt sein:

Aber lustig ist es...
