Heißt das es gibt insgesamt nur 500 Stück von der Threshold oder nur in der Ausführung (milling, farbe)?

The threshold is a dump valve marker and has totally new technology. It is nothing like any other marker out right now. There will be ONLY about 500 of these guns made. There MAY be another version with simpler milling. The first batch will only have 4 colours which are Dark Earth (Dark Brown with black accents), Metallic Earth (Copper with darker brown accents), Alien Green (Green with black accents), Deep Ocean (Dark blue with silver accents). There are a few places to pre-order them, look around at the most obvious spots. The threshold uses a 3-way solinoid and only has 6 orings the gun is two pieces (not including the barrel, regulator, and RAPS) and comes with a RAPS stock.
WE CAN'T POST HOW IT WORKS YET.
Hopefully this will clear some things up.

Actual 6 month field tests resulted in efficiency figures of 1000+ shots before any noticeable drop-off from a 68cc tank, filled to 3000psi!

Just figered I'd post a few pics of it I'm going to take some more shorty and maybe a fast video, about to rain here. Intitial impresions are very good the milling looks a lot better in person. Trigger feels very nice! Wieght is good very light. Just put a loader on it I dont realy like the feed neck has play on the top of the neck becasue it claps on the bottom. I came on 25bps ramping from the factory just shot about a half hooper vlocity very nice! Turned it to semi 25bps the trigger is soo nice it totaly rips in semi didn't even adjust the trigger yet. Like I said more to come.

Aber einen fatalen Fehler haben sie gemacht, Delrin Bolt bei Dump Valve kann böse enden (siehe erster Bolt Naughty Dog Nox oder aber Evolve Delrin für die Matrix)....

Hoffe das Ding ist da anders...

Die scheinen aber schon was geändert zu haben. Auch wenn Delrin Bolt da steht auf den Bildern sieht es eher nach metallenem Bolt aus. Also doch noch was kurz vor Produktion geändert aber das Manual nicht mehrt korregiert.

Denke mal mit dem Metallbolt ist das besser so.

langsam habe ich den verdacht, dass die bald hier zu haben sein wird. dp gibt ganz schön gas und das für nen sehr schmalen kurs. gut für uns alle.

ich finde aber die technische umsetzung der idee ziemlich clever. im prinzip ist es aber doch ne ion (oder ein anderer spoolvalve-blowforward-markierer).

das milling finde ich EXTREM hässlich.

Die mag hässlich sein das sind aber nur die 500 limitierten Modelle. Die geht in Serie mit einem anderen Milling und wird dann in höherer Stückzahl hergestellt (wenns nicht wieder ein Gerücht ist das wurde nämlich bisher noch nicht von den Dangerous Power Jungs bestätigt).

Dangerous Power THRESHOLD review. part 1.


first off i wieghed the complete marker with barrel assembled without 9v.

without barrel 1 pound 14 oz
there are 16 oz in 1 pound to clarify that.

Got my dp threshold today, very impressed overall, with the box and stuff that came with it, came complete with barrel macro line, o ring kit, nice manual, barrel plug, keychain and stickers, and best of all complete metric ALLEN WRENCH KIT. the box was small very small i had ordered two thresholds and the shipping box barely looked like it could fit one gun in it. but yes they where there (whew) with room to spare.

Ok the gun i aired up was the brown metallic threshold, I put in new 9v battery (one was not included). Out of the box it was on 15 ramp setting, seems to click well with solenoid with air off, EYES off i then dry fired with air, and it seemed to shoot air smoothly but soft and steady pop pop pop pop, i then tuned the HPR with the allen key (largest allen key kind of sucks to hold in your pocket during games i bet) i tuned the hpr till it made a solid pop and put my hand over barrel and it felt like decent FPS. i then covered the barrel with a blanket to quiet it down and then it seems to burp a little like the back pressure from no air releasing was making the bolt stay open to long or blowing it back. not a problem should shoot fine with paint.

ok after this i couldnt wait to put some paint in it, i brought my handheld chrono. first shot 180 fps, looks like i needed to turn the velocity up so i did a few turns then chrono again 260, 270, 278. looks like i found the right vlocity, shot a couple more round, 262, 286, 270. not super consistent yet but i guess thats decent, i was shooting $40 karnage which isnt the best paint and also it is small bore so it was probably not barrel matched with the stock barrel.

ok so by now i still had about a whole pod left, i then opened the grips and put the ramping on 25 bps uncapped, 16ms dwell. dry fired a lil sounded nice and fast without eyes on, turned gun off then on again so eyes are on, then i put the rest of pod in my pulse loader.

shot two balls chronoed 272, 284

then i walked the trigger, ramping kicked in and about 3-4 seconds later the paint was all gone. gun seemed to be a little slow a bit after the first 10 shots then it seemed possessed when ramping fully kicked in id say it hit a 20-22 bps peak and steady 17-18 bps or so. The stream was definately for sure faster than regular xball 15 bps ramping. There was no drop off at high rof also no ball breaks, and even when the stack ran out it slowed down properly without overshooting and chopping the last ball. Out of the box this seemed very nice for a complete marker for $550 with nice asa and nice inline reg, out of the box at that.

The threshold did seem to have some barrel lift, seemed just a little more than my bob long closer when it started ramping. but not enough to throw my shot off too bad, i was shooting a bucket about 75 feet away and only about 3 balls missed the target and it was probably my fault. the balls had a nice grouping, a ball here and there would stray off a bit but only by a few inches, compared to my bob long closer the closer has a slightly more consistent shot and shot grouping, but the threshold isnt too far behind and shot really solid. and i also beleive with breaking in and sweetspotting the reg the marker will perform better overall. also the paint wasnt the greatest.

on ramping it wasnt a full hopper probably about 120 rounds.

Overall im pretty impressed by this threshold, i cant say yet that it will make me not shoot my bob long closer as often, but i definately will take this threshold on the field and show it off and see how i like it, so far it seems a solid performer, i bet after breaking in the inline reg and such it will shoot more consistent on the fps readings as well as shot grouping.




hey also i am looking for silver parts, if anybody is interested in trading for my black or brown parts, i am also willing to trade my brown parts for another set of black parts as well.

I will give a more complete review this weekend when i take it out to play.
